Sometimes what we really need is not a recipe, not a health & nutrition fact, or a wellness incentive. Instead, what we need, is some inspiration.
Today's breakfast inspiration features egg whites. Most people think that egg whites are for the overly health conscious, fat fear mongering, exercise nuts of the world who don't value taste or flavor. What most people don't know is that egg whites can be just as tasty as their whole egg counterparts and that an egg white omelette can contain all the same delicious ingredients.
Omelette: In a medium saute pan, cook 1 slice chopped bacon until crispy, add in chopped zucchini, asparagus, tomatoes, & spinach. Season w/ salt & pepper and cook until veggies are tender and spinach is wilted. Pour in roughly 135g of egg whites (or the whites of 3-4 large eggs). Cook until eggs begin to pull from pan, fold, flip, & eat.
'Cado: Slice 1/4 of an avocado into thin slices & fan over your omelette.
Fruit: One cara cara blood orange, thick sliced into rounds. \
Coffee: Starbucks cafe verona, black.
